This video I found on youtube though stuck out to me and how it can help others to reassure your child's happiness. I'm doing a paper right now on how divorce/separation impacts the kids not only in a negative way but also as a positive. Yes, study's show that especially in our generation we are not getting married as much, but the birth rates are going up. This means that there are many children out there with parents who are separated, and or could be together without that label of being in a relationship. This makes it easier for the parents to split up without having any consequences. Going to BMHS and or almost any high school, you can walk down a hallway and half the kids you ask if their parents are together. Most likely their parents aren't together, and their parents are in and out of their life.
